Terms of use for Jiwar

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the Jiwar app and web interface of BGGI GmbH by residents, managements and guards of residential compounds.

2. Account

Only persons invited by the compound management and aged at least 18 receive an account. Credentials and codes must be kept secret; visitor and invitation codes may only be passed on to the intended persons.

3. Obligations

Details on guests, deliveries and repairs must be accurate. Abusive use, circumventing access control, uploading content that infringes third-party rights and attempts to access data of other compounds or persons are prohibited.

4. Licence and rights

BGGI GmbH grants a simple, non-transferable, revocable right to use the software for operating the compound. Copying, modifying, decompiling or commercial exploitation is prohibited unless mandatory law permits it.

5. Availability (pilot)

Jiwar is in pilot operation. Features may change; no particular availability is promised. The guard app checks visitors even without a network; decisions at the gate are made by the guards.

6. Liability

BGGI GmbH is liable in accordance with the statutory provisions; to the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.

7. Data protection

The privacy policy for Jiwar applies.

8. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies; mandatory consumer protection rules of the state in which you live remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction is Bonn, where permitted. If a provision is invalid, the remainder stays valid.
